Belouch

Belouch rugs are not from Belouchistan! They are named after a large tribal group that inhabit the border region of west Afghanistan/ east Iran. Rugs produced nomadically and in the villages of this area are given the generic name Belouch. Generally small and in a prayer rug format these attractive rugs are quite dark in colour with highly stylised geometric designs.
